In a time where many nurseries are recovering from the pandemic, we are going full steam ahead with our investment programme.
It is important to us that we continually invest in our environments for the benefit of both our children and staff and we plan to work our way around all our nurseries, giving them a repaint, investing in resources, introducing learning hubs and revamping the gardens.
The Old Windsor Day Nursery & Preschool
At Old Windsor we have already undertaken work to improve some of the rooms within our nursery and the decoration gives them a bright and fresh new look. It is part of our plans to further improve the nursery and we will be redecorating the Little Explorers, Big Explorers, and Preschool rooms in 2022.
As part of the investment we installed a brand new ICT suite, which will improve and enhance learning and personal development opportunities for the children. One of the key features includes an interactive touch table – this has specific activities designed to support the development of children across the areas of learning. There are also a wide range of additional resources available in the ICT suite, which are all designed to provide our children with new and varied learning tools including: computers, a selection of BeeBots, metal detectors, sensory glow pads, electronic magnetifying glass and interactive pegs used for songs and phonics.
Following these works we’re proud to welcome Old Windsor into our Little Garden Day Nursery Group. the quality and education given at Old Windsor fits beautifully with our flagship nurseries. The nursery’s new name is The Old Windsor Day Nursery and Preschool.
